Item Details

This early treenware charger (17th-18th century) escaped its confines as, simply, a charger, to become a sculptural work: set, appropriately, on an iron stand made specifically for this purpose. Its rich texture and color, as well as its form–created by wear, over time–makes for a very appealing visual work.

The piece measures approximately 20 1/4 inches at its widest, by 14 1/2 inches: On its mount, it stands 20 3/4 inches.
