This pewter pot is probably English or Dutch, in origin. For the tip of the spout the designer has created the head of an eagle or goose. The curved wood handle is attached and supported with pewter connections.
To the tip of the cap, the pot measures approximately 11-5/8 inches; from edge of the handle to the tip of the spout, approximately 10-1/4 inches. The diameter of the base is 3-15/16 inches; and at the widest part of the body, approximately 5-1/2 inches.
