This coffee grinder is probably French, in origin, of the late 18th–early 19th century. The bowl, in which one would pour their coffee beans, is made of brass; the stem and handle, iron; the grip, wood; and between the handle and grip is a small decorative element made of white metal. Another interesting element are the brass screws, which are formed in the manner of a four leaf clover. One small inlay is missing from the front of the drawer.
The grinder is approximately 5 1/4 wide by 8 1/4 high, by 6 deep.
